Hello and welcome to Provincetown General Store on the web!


Provincetown General Store is located in Provincetown, MA. at 147 Commercial Street, in the West End. Conveniently located on your way to the beach from guest houses, bed & breakfasts and other lodging in town. We are a favorite stop for all your necessities for a day at the beach or a quick snack during your day of shopping or gallery browsing. You can find everything from sandwiches to sunscreen, snacks to fresh salads and water to your favorite soft drink or juice!


We are only a few short steps West of the BoatSlip Resort and nestled among many of the West End's finest shops, galleries and salons!


Provincetown General Store is now Closed for the Winter season.

  • We are a full service grocery and deli. We are best known for our excellent and eclectic sandwiches. Many of our condiments, such as pesto, and salads like chicken, tuna, potato, tortilini, and tri-pasta salads are all made in-house with our own recipes.
  • Have a sweet tooth? Then check out our selection cakes, brownies, and cheese cakes baked on the premises. We are also the home of Provincetown's favorite Chocolate Chip cookies. All it takes is one to get you hooked! Also try our new Oatmeal Raisin cookies, both baked in-house and both from our own recipes!
  • Looking for a quick bite to go in the morning? Then come in for our ready-to-go breakfast sandwiches. They come in a variety of combinations. If you need something sweet to start your day, try our fresh baked Blueberry or Cranberry Muffins. Fresh baked Bagels, Banana Bread and Zucchini Bread are available every morning in season.
  • Looking for dinner to go? This summer we are introducing new menu items just for dinner! Don't want to do the restaurants tonight, then stop in for a dinner to go. And don't forget to pickup a drink and some dessert as well.
  • Feel the need for caffeine? We sell the best in organic coffees! Equal Exchange Coffees are organically grown and a fair trade company. We currently brew and stock Organic Breakfast Blend, Organic Breakfast Blend Decaf, Hazelnut, Organic French Roast and Organic Ethiopian flavors.
  • Forgot something at home or need to few items to stock the condo but don't want to hike out to the supermarket? We carry a selection of groceries from soup to nuts; milk, butter and eggs; common baking needs; health and beauty aids and a small selection of popular produce items.
  • Thirsty? We have a wide selection of waters, vitamin waters, sparkling waters, juices, energy drinks and both Pepsi and Coke soft drink lines.
